Young Lesbians and Gays

Most young people, gay or not, seem to think the best thing to do in West Wales is to get out and away.  It doesn’t have to be like that, even for lesbians and gays.  Instead of running away perhaps we should get together, pool ideas  - just “do our own thing”.

If you’ve got problems with family and friends, with looking after you health, you could try talking to us.  Even if we can’t solve all the world’s problems we can help you to get in touch with other organisations such as the GYL Project.

In Dyfed Gay Support Group we are organising social get-togethers so as to provide a safe  and supportive environment where we can be ourselves - without having to pretend to our mates.  We have also had a programme of visits to the sinful city of Swansea and might even consider venturing so far afield as Cardiff  !!  We made up a party to go to this year’s Mardi Gras in Cardiff.
